AC, as he is known to most, has been training clients full-time at Balance since January 2009 and is the Director of Personal Training at Glover Park.
AC specializes in transformations and weight loss. He is a Health Coach with Take Shape for Life and has helped many clients reach their weight-loss goals — ranging from small to great — and regain their health, by focusing on tactical diet and exercise, introducing healthy habits, and a support network.
A native New Zealander, AC is a former professional rugby player and over the past decade has played in several European countries and Canada before ending up in DC at the request of Balance Gym owner Mark Crick.
He has studied health and fitness for many years and has certifications from the Auckland University of Technology, the British Weightlifting Association (BAWLA) and Agatsu Kettlebell as an instructor. AC is a National Body Transformation champion and has many tricks and cutting edge techniques as well as fun, always challenging workouts to help get clients into their best shape possible.
