Gentle Yoga is for all levels of yoga practitioners focusing on basics of yoga, breath work and movement to help you build strength, confidence and grace in your body and mind. Offered at a more gentle pace to bring balance to the hectic pace of DC, this soothing class explores asana (poses) including standing, seated, twists, gentle back bends, and the fundamentals of sun salutations.
Poses and sequences are practiced with alignment in mind offering practitioners the opportunity to gain confidence, strength, flexibility but also incorporates relaxation techniques - great for stress relief and overall relaxation.
This class is designed to enhance the mind, body and soul with a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. These Vinyasa sequences are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like, complemented with soulful sounds that range from Otis Redding to Krishna Das.
In "Soulful Vinyasa Yoga," the goal is to feel calm and grounded. This class creates a space for students to heal within and connect to their divine self. Each student will have the opportunity to find a moment of peace and clarity. Students are encouraged to flow at their own pace, remembering that this time is for them. All levels are welcome.

With modifications and variations for everyone, this class is suitable for all levels and includes standing and seated poses, twists, backbends, core work, and options for arm balances and inversions. Relax and Renew
Open to all levels of practice and abilities, our soothing gentle class focuses on an exploration of basic yoga poses and how to connect them through attention to breathing, alignment and mindfulness. Therapeutic in nature, you will learn techniques to help you gain flexibility, while immersing yourself in a relaxing class that moves at a perfectly slower pace - allowing ample time to enjoy each pose. Expect lots of stretching & lingering in supported seated poses. Meditation and relaxation techniques will also be introduced, perfect for stress relief and overall well being.
Power Yoga is an active Vinyasa flow of 56 yoga postures with variations for all levels; a Baron Baptiste sequence of yoga postures based on Iyengar alignment. It incorporates standing and seated poses, balance postures and hip openers.
Align and Flow
This Vinyasa flow class offers a constantly evolving sequence interwoven with chakra work. It is a progression of classical poses that will take you out of your own thoughts and help you find the edges of your practice and yourself. You will find longer holds, openings, and balances that require strength, sustained concentration and synchronization of the breath.
