AC has been a Personal Trainer at Balance Gym since 2009 and a trainer since the late 90’s. He focuses on providing personal and small group training services. His experience and knowledge combined with his quick wit and creativity have enabled him to help clients reach their fitness goals in challenging but fun ways. AC’s passion for training began at a young age in New Zealand through sports. He went on to become a professional rugby player in the U.K., Italy, and Canada, before settling in Washington, DC to focus on personal training full time.
AC started as a body transformation expert helping people strip off fat and get lean, and over the years has developed a wide understanding of what works for some, doesn’t work for others and how to get the best results for a particular situation. AC believes that continuous learning is a key to success, and always seeks to stay abreast of new techniques and training methods. Through movement screening, AC can help you improve your movement patterns, get stronger more flexible and get more out of your workout and life in general.
