Amanda’s most important goal for her clients is to create a level of comfort and familiarity with the gym during their sessions so they have the ability to make fitness a lifestyle. She aims to help clients find consistent patterns of staying active and mobile to be the version of themselves they want to achieve.
Amanda found her love for fitness and started working in the industry in 2010 while she was pursuing her BA in International Affairs at GWU. She is a certified ACE trainer and USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach. She also holds numerous group fitness certifications ranging from Spin, PiYo, and various circuit training formats. A majority of her experience comes from working with a wide demographic, ranging from competitive olympic lifting athletes to clients post-rehab. Whether the focus is strength or mobility oriented, Amanda looks forward to providing her clients with the foundation and first steps toward their goals. You can find her at our Glover Park and Foggy Bottom locations, where she trains clients and teaches Balance Blast, Balance Body, Balance Burn, Balance Bootcamp, and Mobility, and subs the occasional core and spin classes.
This 30-minute express class is designed to blast your abs and glutes with a series of intervals. Be ready to work and feel the burn!
A high-intensity class designed to aid in the development of overall fitness level and a well-rounded physique. Participants will utilize barbell complexes for strength gains interspersed with body weight intervals.
The boot camp class offered at Balance focuses on high heart rate training, designed to improve stamina, endurance, and body composition.
