Brian Dixon
Head Trainer, Thomas Circle
My Background
Throughout my high school and college years I played several different sports. This is where my love for athletic training developed. I was fascinated by the various ways that each sport trained and the many different physical attributes that I was obtaining from each individual style of training. From the power and strength of football, to the agility and endurance of basketball, to the hand eye coordination and reaction time in baseball, I learned very quickly that there were universal exercises that I did in all of the sports, but there were also exercises that were specifically designed for that individual sport. It was then that I learned a very valuable lesson in training that has modeled the training style that I have today. I learned that you must apply the correct training in order to reach the desired goals.
Why I Train
My goal as a trainer is to help each and every person that I work with achieve their fitness goals. We will develop a plan based upon the goals that are specific to the individual client using state of the art training principles and concepts in order to achieve their desired results.

Training catch phrase:
“If you are not aiming too high, you are aiming too low”. I have a passion for helping people reach new heights and do the unthinkable. I like to focus on performance enhancement through functional training. To achieve that, I instill a strong foundation that starts with learning the basics about yourself and what you are currently capable of physically and then incorporate proven training techniques. From there, your training is a constantly evolving journey with no limitations.”
