“Progression not perfection.”
Ryan first got into fitness seriously as he was preparing to leave for boot camp for the U.S. Navy. After boot camp and his job training he realized he needed to get stronger because of some of the potential hazards of his new job. Ryan fell in love with lifting heavy and functional training.
During his time in the Navy he oversaw the fitness standards of the Security Reaction Force he was a member of during his time in Bahrain. After that Ryan was stationed at Air Force Base Offutt and oversaw his work shift’s exercise regiment. As his time was nearing an end in the Navy he became certified through International Sport Science Association as a Fitness Trainer while also getting a certification as a specialist in Exercise Therapy and Fitness Nutrition.
