This class starts from a place of breath awareness, and moves into progressive series of dynamic yoga postures that link the flow of breath to movement and strength building. Each class will work to tone and strengthen the entire body, while creating a sense of flexibility, ease and awareness in the practice. Each class will also include a more intense focus on one or two specific areas like neck and shoulders, heart or hip openers, hamstrings etc. Students are encouraged to practice wisely, find their own ‘intelligent edge” and honor the current condition of the body.

Yin & Yan Yoga
Yin & Yang Yoga will leave you feeling more balanced in mind and body. The passive (yin) and vigorous (yang) is rooted in the idea that, in order to create balance in your overall practice, you need to alternately exert and quiet yourself. The Yang portion of class will take you through yoga poses using correct alignment. The Yin portion of class will be more relaxing with gentle poses held for longer period of time.
Rocket Yoga is based off the Ashtanga first and second series, combining flexibility and strength. This class will combine a vigorous flow with inversions and arm balances. Class will be lightly heated.
