Walk to End Epilepsy – DC

The Walk to End Epilepsy – DC fundraising event is held in Washington, D.C. on the National Mall near the Smithsonian National Mall metro station. It is an inspirational, healthy and fun community celebration of music and entertainment with friends, family, corporations and organizations celebrating their fundraising success and support for the epilepsy community. Funds raised are for much needed research, programs, services, advocacy and education about epilepsy. People from nearly 50 states across North America converge on the National Mall each Spring as they take steps to end epilepsy. Join us for our 5K Walk and Family Fun Mile event and celebration on April 27, 2019.

Arlington Bunny Hop Charity 5K

5K Fun Run/Walk for competitive runners, fitness/frequent runners, joggers/recreational runners & walkers/strollers, dogs allowed. 5K finisher medals will be given to all children crossing the finish line. A family style block party will be featured after the race with characters, free food, bounce houses and live music. Costumes are welcome and encouraged for this fun, family event. Medals will be awarded to overall and age group winners and three finishers with the best costumes. Adults $35, 6-17 $20, under 6 free, prices increase April 1.

Makin’ Hay 10K

The Makin’ Hay 10k is a scenic and rolling jaunt through some of the most picturesque farmland in Maryland. The loop course celebrates spring’s awakening, taking participants past numerous farms, along Catoctin Creek on a dirt road, and across two, one-lane wooden deck bridges. The race starts at 0830 sharp from Catoctin Creek Nature Center and Park, Middletown, MD. Finisher’s medals, custom ceramic overall awards, 5-year age group awards, and tech-shirts await our participants! Overland Timing will be providing chip timing services.
