10 Years After an Exercise Study, Benefits Persist

The benefits of exercise may last longer than many of us might expect.

A new study shows workouts we completed years ago may continue to influence and improve our health today. Scientists tracked changes to aerobic fitness, blood pressure, insulin sensitivity and waist circumference and found that those who exercised reaped benefits years later.
