Courtney Costello’s journey in the fitness and wellness industry has spanned several years, during which she has honed her expertise and passion for helping others achieve happier and healthier lives. With a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance, Courtney’s unique background in dance serves as a foundational source of her training philosophy.
Courtney embarked on her coaching career as a dance and barre instructor in the bustling heart of New York City. While pursuing a professional dance career, she steadily progressed towards becoming a certified personal trainer, accumulating six years of valuable coaching experience. She currently holds the title of a certified personal trainer, boasting two years of professional experience.
Not one to rest on her laurels, Courtney is presently engaged in pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Her academic journey has equipped her with a profound understanding of movement science, rehabilitation for common musculoskeletal injuries, and injury prevention. This knowledge forms the bedrock of her approach to training.
In her training sessions, Courtney emphasizes a holistic approach, which includes High-Intensity Interval Training, cardiovascular endurance, functional strength training, balance, and core stabilization. Every session is uniquely tailored to enhance mobility, all while fostering a welcoming, judgment-free atmosphere that clients find enjoyable.
Courtney’s guiding principle is the importance of establishing a sturdy foundation rooted in safety and stability before venturing into more advanced training methods. Simultaneously, she believes in pushing boundaries and unlocking her clients’ fullest potential. Her ultimate objective is not only to help clients reach their fitness goals but also to provide guidance in maintaining those achievements. Courtney’s expertise enables her to craft individualized strategies that cater to each client’s unique needs and aspirations.
