Meet Your Trainer Matt Arreola
I have been coaching at Balance since 2020 and previously served as a fitness instructor in the US Navy since 2008. My passion for fitness leadership began in the military, starting as a midshipman at the US Naval Academy and later as an officer. Over the years, I pursued my Level 1 and Level 2 CrossFit certifications and transitioned to coaching at Balance.
In my approach to training, I bring energy, commitment, and a sense of humor to every session. My goal is for you to train hard and effectively while having fun as you progress toward your goals. I have experience working with clients of all ages and am adept at addressing restrictions, mobility issues, or other unique concerns you may have.

Athletic Background:
I have played and coached football and baseball and completed several ultramarathons and triathlons.
Personal Interests:
In August of 2024, I will begin a Master’s in Social Work. Outside of the gym, I enjoy trail running, mountain biking, meditation, and yoga. I also participate in fitness competitions and races of any sort.
