NEW TO CROSSFIT? START WITH FOUNDATIONS
Our Foundations classes in Washington DC are where to start when you’re new to CrossFit. Since our Foundations classes are designed to introduce the techniques and mechanics of CrossFit’s nine basic movements you’ll be gradually challenged with increasing intensity—leading to stunning results. When one needs more attention or is hesitant about the movements this approach is perfect for you.
Foundations is included in your CrossFit membership. Classes are three hours long and are held on select Saturdays. Foundations consists of an introduction to CrossFit’s basic movements, including:
- Squats (Air/Front/Back Squats/Overhead Squat)
- Deadlifts (Deadlift/Kettlebell Swing/Hang Clean)
- Presses (Standing Shoulder Press/Push Press/Push Jerk)
