Devin Maier was born and raised in the heart of DC, and fitness and fun have been flowing through his veins since his mom made him work out to her Jane Fonda records in the late 80’s. As a former wrestler and football player, he believes in strength and flexibility as the foundations of all healthy bodies, and he has close to two decades of experience proving that to be the case.
Currently the Managing Director for Balance Gym, Devin likes to moonlight as a CrossFit Level Two coach and BootCamp instructor whenever possible. When he’s not running the gyms, you can probably find him sweating in a squat rack, concocting new fitness class formats like Balance Body or Balance Strong, or paddling the Potomac looking like Poseidon.

A high-intensity class designed to aid in the development of overall fitness level and a well-rounded physique. Participants will utilize barbell complexes for strength gains interspersed with body weight intervals.
The boot camp class offered at Balance focuses on high heart rate training, designed to improve stamina, endurance, and body composition.
